Day 1, Arrival/Shanghai
On your arrival at Shanghai’s airport, your local guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel. The balance of the day is yours to relax or explore the city on your own. This shipping and trading town grew in importance a favorable port for Europeans for opium trading. Today Shanghai is the largest city by population in the People's Republic of China (PRC) and the largest city population in the world.

Day 2, Shanghai
After breakfast in your hotel meet your guide in the hotel lobby to visit The Bund and nearby Nanjing Road. Next visit Yu Garden, the only surviving ancient garden. The sites visited today are The Bund, Nanjing Road, Yu Garden and Shanghai. Meals provided today are: B, L, D

Day 3, Shanghai/Beijing
After breakfast in your hotel meet your guide in the hotel lobby to be driven to the airport for your flight to Beijing. Sometimes romanticized as Peking, Beijing is the capital of the People's Republic of China. The city is second in population to Shanghai. On your arrival at Beijing’s airport your local guide will meet you and you will have a brief tour around Beijing. You will also go on the world famous Wangfujing and Liulichang streets. Day 4, Beijing
After breakfast in your hotel meet your guide in the hotel lobby to visit Tiananmen Square, the largest city square in the world and the spiritual heart of China. The next place to be visited is the exquisite Summer Palace, where you can marvel at the opulence of an imperial summer getaway. Then visit the magnificent Temple of Heaven, which was where China’s Emperors prayed to heaven. Day 5, Beijing
After breakfast in your hotel meet your guide in the hotel lobby to visit the Great Wall (Badaling Section). After lunch, drive on the Sacred Road,the road leading to the tombs of the Ming Dynasty’s Emperors. You will then visit the Ding Tomb, the only excavated imperial Ming Dynasty Tomb. Day 6, Beijing/Xian
After breakfast in your hotel meet your guide in the hotel lobby to drive you to the airport for your flight to Xian. Day 7, Xian
After breakfast in your hotel meet your guide in the hotel lobby to visit the incredible Terra-cotta Warriors. The Terra cotta Army is a massive collection of individually carved terra cotta sculptures. These are the after-life armies of China's first Emperor Qin Shi Huang. Your next visit is to the Banpo Neolithic Museum. In the evening you will have a special cultural experience be taken to an amazing Jiaozi (Dumpling) Feast and the Tang Dynasty Show. Day 8, Xian/Guilin After having breakfast in your hotel, your guide will meet you and take you to the airport for your flight to Xian. On your arrival at Guilin airport, your local guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to relax, or explore the city on your own. Guìlín sits on the west bank of the Li River. and gets its name means "forest of Sweet Osmanthus", owing to the large number of fragrant sweet Osmanthus trees located in the city. The city has long been renowned for its unique scenery. The meals provided today are: B, L, D

Day 9, April 24, Guilin/Yangshuo After breakfast in your hotel meet your guide in the hotel lobby and to the Zhujiang Pier (40 minutes), where you will begin your Li River Cruise from Guilin to Yangshuo. The scenery along the Li River is often referred to as the most beautiful under heaven. Upon docking in Yangshuo, your guide will escort you to your hotel. After checking in, you will be taken down Yangshuo’s famous West Street, known for its shops, bars, and eateries. Optional evening activity: In the evening you can dine on Yangshuo’s amazing Li River Beer Fish. After dinner, you will witness the spectacle of Impressions of Liusanjie (Third Sister Liu) performance. The Performance, created by Zhang Yimou, China’s premiere movie director and director of the Beijing Olympics’ Opening Ceremony, is made up of hundreds of people and is performed on the Li River with the mountains as the backdrop. Day 10, Yangshuo/Guilin/H.K. After breakfast in your hotel meet your guide in the hotel lobby to take you back to Guilin. Then you will be driven to Reed Flute Cave. You will be driven to the airport for your flight to Hong Kong. Upon your arrival into Hong Kong you will meet your guide and be transferred to your hotel. Hong Kong is a special administrative region (SAR) of the People's Republic of China (PRC) and known for its skyline and harbor. The sites visited today are: Reed Flute Cave. Day 11, Hong Kong After breakfast in your hotel meet your guide in the hotel lobby to take you to Victoria Peak, for a bird’s eye view of Hong Kong. You will then be driven to the Suzi Wong Area and Aberdeen, Repulse Bay and visit the Stanley Market. Day 1: USA West coast departure
Your China journey unfolds as you board your transpacific jet bound for the most sophisticated city in China, Shanghai.

Day 2: Arrive Shanghai
Arrive in Shanghai, the bustling commercial heart of China. It is in Shanghai that the results of the open door policy and recent western influences are most evident.

Day 3: Shanghai
Todays' sight-seeing introduces you to a cosmopolitan metropolis. Discover the riverfront Bund, the 16th century Yu Tuan Garden, the magnificent Jade Buddha Temple, the Museum of Art and History and the Children's Palace. Day 4: Shanghai to Beijing

Today move through the pageant of China's noble history. Stroll through the monumental Tiananmen Square, visit the opulent world of the Forbidden City, and spend time at the graceful Temple of Heaven and the hauntingly beautiful Summer Palace. Day 6: Beijing
After an early breakfast ascend the rampart of the 2500 mile long Great Wall of China and watch it weave its seemingly endless path across mountains and valleys. Drive through the three mile Sacred Way of animal sculptures leading to the Ming Tombs.

Day 7: Beijing to Xian
Morning flight to China's great ancient capitol for eleven dynasties. Your exploration begins with an afternoon visit to Xian's downtown district. Balance of afternoon at leisure, (B,L,D.)

Day 8: Xian
Today is devoted to the most exciting archeological discovery in modern history: the Mausoleum of Emperor Qin Shihuang containing more than 6000 life like terra-cotta warriors. In the afternoon visit the 6000 year old Banpo Neolithic Museum and the imperial hot spring at Huaqing. Tonight is a special classic Tang Dynasty dinner show, (B,L,D,).

Day 9: Xian to Guilin

Day 10: Guilin

Day 11: Guilin to Hong Kong
